古い麻の蚊帳生地。今回、穴の空いている所以外は当て布をせずに進めている。途中までは縫うというより糸を拾って行く感じ。

Old linen mosquito net fabric. This time, I'm working without using a patch except for the hole. It feels more like I'm picking up threads than sewing.

合流地点を縫うのが好きです。出会いのようであり、
ともに過ごしたかけがえのない時間みたいだなと糸を重ね縫い留めながら思う。

I like sewing at the junction. It's like meeting people, and it's like an irreplaceable time we've spent together, so I think every time I sew the thread together.

I showed each other my work in Kyoto with @specksandkeepings -san. Her work was intricate and full of tasteful forms and color combinations. Thank you for the exciting time!

説明するならば始まりというよりは、いったん沈めた感情が時を経て静かに浮かび上がってくるようなイメージ。
To explain, it's not the beginning, but the image of a feeling that has been sunk quietly comes to mind over time.

ひとまず完成。そもそもこんなに完璧なHAORIが私の手元に来てくれた事が嬉しい出来事。私に譲ってくださった先輩に感謝です。愛着がぎゅっと詰まっているって伝わりますか？
It's finished for now. I'm so happy that such a perfect HAORI came into my hands. I'm grateful to my senior who gave it to me. Can you tell that I'm full of love for it?

このHAORIの前見頃には力を加えると破

このHAORIの前見頃には力を加えると破けてしまいそうなほど、薄くすり減った箇所がいくつかある。そこに裏から布をあてて縫うと凄くかっこよくなる。繊細な作業。言葉で伝えるのは難しいが、とてもロマンティック。
There are some worn-out areas on the front of this HAORI garment that look like they might tear if you apply too much pressure to them. I sewed some fabric from the back to make them look really cool. Delicate work. It's hard to put into words, but it's very romantic.

HAORIの進み具合。写真ではあまり変化を伝えれないかも…完成図は頭にあるので、いつものように色々考えずに手を動かし続けるのみ🪡
(HAORI's progress. The photos may not be able to convey the changes very well... I have the finished image in my head, so I just keep moving my hands without thinking too much🪡

この素晴らしいHAORIには同色の藍染め

この素晴らしいHAORIには同色の藍染め刺し子糸で渦を。赤糸や白糸よりインパクトには欠けるが、近くに寄って目にしていただいた時に衝撃が走る…そんな作品にしたいのです。頑張ります🪡
For this wonderful HAORI, I used indigo-dyed sashiko thread of the same color. It may not have as much impact as red or white thread, but it will leave a strong impression when you look at it up close... That's the kind of piece I want to make. I'll do my best 🪡

いつものようにデニデニファッションにNORAGIを着てみました。いくつになっても好きなスタイルです。

赤渦NORAGIが完成した。勢いよく渦巻いていると思う。満足。

NORAGIの進み具合。背面の渦巻きと前見頃の“流れ”を繋げて🪡進めている。今後もう片方の前見頃も進める予定。そしてもう少し飛沫の様な箇所を増やしたい。できるだけ、わざとらしくない飛び散り…💦 💦💦

Progress on NORAGI. I'm connecting the swirls on the back and the "flow" of the front part 🪡. I plan to work on the other front part in the future. I also want to add more splashes. I want to make the splashes look less contrived as much as possible...💦💦💦
